Your body needs times to adjust, your health will be better and if you actually lose even half of the 20, then you are on the right track. It takes at least 30 days to form a new habit. It make take you 2-3 months to start exercising regularly.
A steady loss is more beneficial than an increasing one. If you lose a pound a month, that would be a good start. Imagine, 12 pounds a year or more? That's already a worthy achievement to be proud of.
The road is still long so start with a regular exercise program. Choose one that you like best. Whether it's walking, running or swimming, just include it in your weekly activities.
